Tattoos for girls
- how to choose a tattoo you'll love...
forever.
Thinking Ink?
Whether you're already an ink
addict, or you're just starting to think about getting your
very first tattoo, having a big 'sis to help you find the
perfect tattoo, or hold your hand while you wait for the whole
thing to be over with : ) is really important.
You've got questions! And Tattoo Girlz is
here
to help you find the answers you need.
- What to expect when
you're expecting (your first tattoo!)
- How to choose the best design (or
create your own)
- Where can I go online to find unique
tattoo designs?
- How do I find a good, safe tattoo
parlor?
It's all right here. And because shopping
is pretty much hard-wired into our DNA, we'll take a look at
the top three online resources for tattoo designs and
information. There are pages and pages of info on
tattoos out there - some isn't even worth looking at. So....
here's the scoop!
The Scoop On: Chopper Tattoo

OK, aside from the gorgeous guy's torso, there are lots of
other reasons to love Chopper Tattoo. It's easily the biggest
online tattoo gallery out there. This means you can find tattoo
designs that you won't see on every girl you meet after you get
yours done! (You thought showing up somewhere wearing the
same shirt as three other girls was bad - just
imagine if it was permanent!)
When you're looking for tattoo designs, you really want to
avoid the completely free options. Why? Because everyone else
will have them! Chopper Tattoo has a small one-time fee you pay
to get access to the thousands and thousands of designs on the
site. Last I checked, there were nearly 4,000 tattoo designs on
Chopper Tattoo!
You can shop by category, or by typing in a keyword. So, if
you're looking for a butterfly tattoo, you'd just type
that in and see what comes up. Easy! When you find the perfect
tattoo, just print it and take it to a tattoo artist. There's
no limit to how many you can print.
Now, what makes Chopper Tattoo great is that it's kind of a
matter of pride for a tattoo artist to have designs featured
here. They are really creative and only the highest quality
designs make the cut.
And because you know you won't be able to stop at just one
tattoo, it's a good thing that you can get a
lifetime membership - the most popular option.
There are a few different membership levels:
Lifetime - definitely the most popular - $34.44
30-day - so you can try it out with no commitment -
$19.95
60-day - not really sure why they'd offer this, because
at $24.95, the better deal is definitely the lifetime
level.

The Scoop On: Tattoo Me Now

Yup. Another gorgeous guy - so what if he's a cartoon? Anyway,
Tattoo Me Now is another huge site where there are close to
4000 tattoo designs. If you don't find the perfect tattoo
design here, you better break out the crayons and make your
own!
Again, this site makes it easy. When you find a tattoo
design you like, just print it out and take it with you to your
tattoo artist. You've probably got a local recommendation, but
if not, you can find a great tattoo artist in your local area
(anywhere in the world) by searching on this site.
What if you like part of THIS tattoo design, and part of
THAT one? No problem - you can combine them pretty easily and
end up with a completely custom tattoo. Wonder how a design
looks "on"? Check out the gallery - you can see how these
tattoo designs look in real life, and even rate members'
tattoos (be nice! you could also let them rate yours!).
There are tons of other resources on Tattoo Me Now: books,
videos, and a forum.
There are two membership options:
- A one-year membership for $27, or
- A lifetime membership for $37 (obviously a better
deal)

And one more that's definitely worth a visit.
The Scoop On: Tattoo Designs U.S.

What?? No gorgeous guy? Well, actually there are one or
two on the site, so you'll just have to go visit! This one
also claims to have more than 3000 tattoo designs (what is it
with these sites and the number 4000?) Again, that's great
because if you're browsing through that many, the chances of
you choosing the same design someone you know has are slim.
What's also neat about Tattoo Designs U.S. is that they've
got a phrase translator. So if you wanted to put a Chinese,
Hebrew, or Arabic word or phrase into your tattoo design you
can be sure you're doing it right! Nothing's worse than a
permanent typo! You also get an audio book about caring for
your tattoo, and an ebook bonus.
The downside is that it's an ebook, not a site that's
constantly growing, like the other two. You get a ton of
designs, but it's a one-shot deal.
No pricing options here - just one price - $24.95
